Entry Level Landscape Architect

If you’re just beginning your career in landscape architecture, SKS Studio is a great place to do it. Given the variety of projects we work on all over the world, your day could involve any of the following:

  • CADD/BIM drafting
  • Hand drawing and designing including color rendering
  • Computer generated and/or hand drawn illustrations
  • Master planning
  • Landscape/hardscape design
  • Travel (if required)
  • Marketing, business development and client interaction
  • Other tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the company

SKS Studio’s landscape architecture internship program is designed to give students real-life experience in all aspects of the profession. Students can expect to be hands-on, working side by side with our team on high-profile projects.

Our office is located in the Crossroads Art District in downtown Kansas City, just a short distance from the Power & Light District, Westport, the Plaza, the River Market and Crown Center.

SKS Studio landscape architecture internships are open to third- and fourth-year landscape architecture majors. Choose from a nine-month or 10-week (summer) program.

  • Estimated 40 hours/week
  • Paid internship
  • May qualify for credit hours, depending on the school’s curriculum
