OUR HISTORY
The Story Doesn’t Stop Here.
Who We Are
SKS Studio is a full-service master planning and landscape architecture firm, that specializes in large-scale mixed-use, destination entertainment, and hospitality-related projects. Since 1997, Sean Simms and his team have participated in projects in more than 40 countries and have been responsible for executing projects totaling billions of dollars in development costs.
Our Design Approach
Our focus is to design through the development of experiences. To achieve this, we continually strive to create fully immersive environments that capture the imagination of the user. We believe that understanding our client’s vision and being able to execute that vision is at the core of our design principles. By understanding how our designs can benefit from their surroundings, enhance the environment, and respond to economic reality, we can create places that continually improve over time – this is our definition of “sustainability”.
Our Philosophy
We embrace the collaborative design process through interacting with other talented professionals to harness a greater creative power. SKS Studio provides continual design leadership from the initial design charrette through all levels of project design and execution. It is this leadership and understanding of the collaborative design process that truly sets us apart from others.
